The George Weah Institute of Academic Excellence is the brainchild dream of Hon. Bill Teah Twehway, one of Liberia’s astute and incisive academics.
He is a man of true and appetite for education as demonstrated through his deeds. The Institute is named in honor of His Excellency, Dr. George Manneh Weah, a true HERO, the man who truly and selflessly served others, took risks and faced potential losses, paid personal prices for the benefit of his statesman and the state at large. The enduring principles of the institute are Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, Transparency, and Empathy.

History
The George Weah Institute of Academic Excellence located Pipeline Road, Bill T. Twehway Avenue is the Brainchild dream of Hon. Bill Teah Twehway was established in 2019 to give quality education to Liberians children now and always. Moreover, Honorable. Twehway is one of Liberia’s incisive academics. He is a man of true appetite for quality education and he has demonstrated it through his deeds (the establishment of a Twenty First Century Institution). The institution is named in honor of His Excellency, Dr. George Manneh Weah, a true HERO, the man who truly and selflessly served others, took risks and faced potential losses. He paid a personal price that benefits his statesmanship and the state at large.
The enduring principles of this noble institution are integrity, excellence, accountability, transparency and empathy.
